thank you for showing interest in the friendcities 2025 mascot contest!

when this zine began in 2023, we did not have a specific goal in mind for it. it was a fun project for us to get some eyes on her work and to share art with the people that we love. Seven volumes later, and we are looking to do a rebrand of sorts. A part of this is getting a mascot and creating the face of friendcities

this is where you come in. Both contributors and non-contributors can enter into this contest to create the first friendcities mascot!

• submissions are due march 31st, 2025
• if you win, you will be given credit on our website and in a page in our next zine announcing the new mascot!
• we will use the mascot for the foreseeable future on our website, in our zines, on our social media, and more
• if you are not a friendcities contributor you may be immediately considered for a contributor position at your request
• we will include any music of yours to promote on our website!
• we will give you a one-page ad space in the next issue of friendcities!

• include any photo/drawing of your mascot with a short description of their personality and interests.
• create one 8.5"x11" poster announcing this new mascot. this poster will be reviewed and may end up in our next zine!
• include your name and an instagram handle you want featured in a winner's announcement.
• send these things in an email to friendcities@proton.me
